Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is a talented American actress who has worked as a performer, writer, director and producer. Her most famous role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she has directed, produced and appeared in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born January 8 1977 in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Benson has a younger sister Danielle Benson, who works as an artist. Her father, Benson's was Jewish while her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. She grew up going to a Reform church in Alabama. Benson appeared on Morganville The Series and in The Killing Jar since Buffy's end. On camera, she employed her talents as a writer to write her character Ghosts of Albion and direct projects such as 2010's Drones. Buffy claims that she's found and counted at least 1800 Slayers, 500 of whom work with the Scooby Gang. Slayer possibilities are being awakened once they reach the suitable maturity.
