Harry
Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer known as being a part of the group One Direction. Born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England 1 February 1994, he is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former pupil of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School was the founder of a band called White Eskimo together with three of his fellow students. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to win their first Battle of Bands 2009. He was always interested in music but also wanted to work as an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. When he worked in the city's bakery Harry Styles managed to feed his family. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition where he sang the Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. The group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which formed in 2010. In the contest, the group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls for the prize. They came third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell were not able to get the win in the contest. But Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
