Alison Maria Krauss - born on July 23, 1971, is a popular American country and bluegrass singer. She was a teenager when she first entered the world of music winning local competitions from the age of 10 old and recording her first album at the age of 14 years. After signing by Rounder Records, her first album was released in 1987. She was a part of the group which she continues to perform, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in the year 1989.
